And the story goes on. Nine months after my accident, my bottock is still significantly swollen. I have just been to see a surgeon who advises that he could just drain it, ion which case the sack of fluid would fill again over time requiring further draining or he could remove the fibrous sack. He recommends the latter although it will have to be under general anaesthetic as the sack is so large. He wants to operate early in the New year.
