Bugger, I now can't make it, either, despite so looking forward to it. I woke up from a nap earlier feeling ill. Need a good night's sleep. Fail. I hate scratching from rides. :(

So I had an eventful evening, did'nt put my name down for the ride, wished I had and was musing this as I passed a bunch of people on my way home from town. Stopped and asked if you were who I thought you were, joined in and had a fantastic ride. Got rear ended by a fellow rider by accident which it turned out blew my front tube, stupidly waved everyone on saying I was ok and then realised my feckin pump is broke grrr. Cab home, grazed knees and hands, v tired but loved it. Thanks pajamas for organising and nice to meet you kattiep, squeeky bum joe and everyone else who said hello. Can't wait for another!

ade, so glad you came on to let us know you were alright. i was a bit concerned as i'd missed the spill then legged it all the way back to find out was going on - but then people came past saying both guys were okay and back on the bikes. At Westminster Ivan was okay and we knew you'd had a puncture but yeah someone said you'd waved people on.

everyone else - that was really fantastic tonight, looking forward to a few photos. Special props to Bobby Dids coming all the way from Bedford but a great effort by everyone to be out at that time of night. Hope you a good time, I thought it was a great ride with a really fantastic bunch of people.. thanks for a brilliant evening.
