Ed, the difference between you, and many other forumengers, that ask about locking, is that you are very security conscious,
and you know the best ways to lock your bike, and where NOT to leave it, and also for how long a bike can be left in certain areas.
If others knew this, the Stolen Bikes thread would be a very small thread indeed. The reason I keep promoting the locks from the Locks That Work thread, is that many people will lock and forget their bikes. At least the 18mm locks provide the strongest security,
and 16mm locks are not so far behind.
Not disagreeing, just explaining why I point this out to those that ask.
