Are you fellows serious? Best actress? Penelope Cruz, and Natalie Portman discussed, but not real actresses like Brenda Blethyn?

So a good actress must be youngish and beautiful, ....not necessarily good at the art of acting?

You have a point, but to be fair, both Cruz and Portman have demonstrated an ability of acting above the average. I think it would be harsh to label them as false actresses.

So how would you consider Audrey Tatou, an actress not only youngish and beautiful but also arguably a better at acting then Blethyn? Likewise with Hillary Swank, Charlize Theron or Juliette Binoche.
