unfortunately im out as i have a date!
But Somebody, Lynx, Blue Quinn, hell, a few will probably be there.
Go to the bar and ask for the crazy cyclists. Lovely bunch them all.
They are there from about 8.30 but someone will say when around 5 today.

I should be down between 7.30 and 8, dinner permitting. We've had a few newbies down recently which makes a nice change.
Our bikes can be hard to spot sometimes as there is quite often a load of nodder mobiles attached to the railings also, and sometimes the odd fixed not affiliated with us or maybe just too cool for us bike nerds ;-p

Guess I'll be down at 8.30 with another forum noob. Surely we'll be able to spot you by all the lycra you'll be wearing, right?
-
• #4259
Oliver, you are going to be there? Damn, i was keen to meet you.

That and my £5000 road bike with carbon McCarbon carbons. I'm a closet lycra wearer so you won't catch me in that down at the pub. Only on the weekends indoors ;-1
Just look for some bike paraphenalia in close proximity to some dodgy looking misfits.

I was thinking about 6-7Gonna try to be as early as possible but 6pm arrival time is unrealistic for me. I gotta get up before sparrows fart tomorrow. It'll be hard to tear myself away before closing as always.

Maybe, but I'll never be as cool as this guy so I'll just quit while I'm ahead.

Another first timer here, thinking of heading down tonight. Seen as though I've literally just finished a beater/pub bike, I figure this is the perfect excuse to take it for a quick spin.

Ok, a bit late. I got dinner first.
Now I am off to t'pub -

Nice to come down tonight, only spoke to a couple of people though (was there with work friends in another booth). Good to catch up with the Schickster and speak about mutual acquaintances and also nice to meet Somebody. Might have to make it a regular thing, norths is just a whole heap of effort!

T'was a decent easts last night. Josh, Junoface. Good to meet ya's. Glad to see you came down James. I still get confused with all the double names.
@IDoNothing: your head badge is a top notcha, perfect for the pub bike.
For the newbs, no 2 easts sessions are the same, a lot of people kind of do the rounds and drop by every so often. Some nights ultra busy, some nights quiet.
The book I was talking about is called East End Chronicles by Ed Glinert. Worth a read.
