  • You don't necessary need 27", you can have 700c with 28c tyres and it's pretty similar to a 27" with skinny tyres, it's a win win if I have 700c.
    Hence why I'm deciding.

    I did Ed, I fitted my Araya's on (with a 28c), thought I could use different sets, all 700c and just swap them around... thing is, it doesn't look right. I guess I really should go by the book on this one. Cheating with the wheel size could mean i would have 1 extra wheelset but still... I'm still getting Omega V's (...and join the club), but for my current/everyday/new/future ride.
