For the record, where a concatenation of two instances of the same letter occurs, I generally hyphenate.
Excellent, this thread has now become a good place for debating the finer points of hyphenation. My evil plan is a success! Mwahahaha. Now I can get banned, as all that I ever set out to do has been accomplished.
