seatpost size 27.6........either its the new sci fi movie or bikefix should buy some new calipers/eyes......and as for 29.8 seatclamp...what so non standard about it?????

What's non-standard about it is they don't stock it "because it's non-standard". Neither does any of the seven or eight shops I tried. So have ordered one off the internet and am now off the road.

29.8/30mm seat clamps should be available fairly easily in shops. Hope and Salsa both make them.

I agree. I tried Bikefix, diff. branches of Evans, BLB, Condor, Action Bikes.

Fuck it, though. Pretty decent steel f+f for 150 quid or whatever it is.

Why dont u just get a shim, get a 27.2, and stick a tiny sheet of copper...!?

i really think you need to find a bike shop with a decent set of calipers..... just measured my BLB with my shops electronic calipers, 27.2 mm, not quite on the nose 27.213mm to be exact but a 27.2mm Control Tech seat-post fits just fine, a bit snug but fine

M. Dizzle, I definitely need to double check. I've put a Push 27.2 pillar in there, far from snug it was. Chee-urs. Where's your shop?

Unfortunatly a little to far,its in Brasil....but it is defintly a 27.2, i had a Campag aero post in there when i bought it, now it has tioga seat post, and i tried a control tech.

Pretty expensive for what you can get other that it, there is one on ebay I think...

i built on of these up and yes its named after a sandwich whats pretty sad but it rides nice i would recomend it but if your looking for a trick frame i would go with the charge scissor
