Both Brian and Matt started the league as team members and therefore were unable to sub for other teams. If they have now quit from their respective teams then they shouldn't technically be allowed to sub for other teams.
TBH, that was my intial response to brians post too. Otherwise, why declare yourself part of a team at the start of the season? Damn, this rules business is complicated.
I think youre right in suggesting that as it stands, players still shouldnt be allowed to sub for other league teams if they leave their declared team. I think there's a whole transfer rules debate that we're starting to see a need for, in time for next season, and this is one of the situations we need to discuss, because Im also not sure how fair it is to the players. Its also hard on the rest of BRPC in this case, because their one sub is now permanently being used.
