I have a degree in Aerospace Engineering, a degree isn't listed as a requirement but I guarantee all the people who pass phase 4 and get a place on the training scheme and get a job with FlyBe will be graduates.
There are no real tough requirements or specific background. A Level knowledge of Maths and Physics aren't required but recommended, and you don't need any previous flying experience.
