I've just finished this. A sort of accidental project while I get the cash together to finish off my proper project. It'll probably go to a friend of mine who's just getting into cycling. I've a feeling she'll add a wicker basket.
It's an early 80s Raleigh Misty frame, salvaged from a heap of abandoned bike junk at work, stripped of decals, gears, rack and mudguards, and given a thorough clean and regrease. It's nothing particularly special, but I like the mixte design and the shape of the chainguard. The white bits are new; the wheels and all other parts were sourced from other dead bikes. All in it came to £64.10. I'm rather pleased with it. White is the new black, or something.
nice.
