i really like them,
but besides, that's one sweet bike you can do no wrong.Sorry I don't know what you mean? The cinelli aero bars on the table? Or the Mavic bulls?

pardon me,
i meant the black grips on your pursuit bars currently installed on the bike, looks like one long black tube of grip, which is nice, and i haven't seen them before. -

Good to see that the Roberto Bicycletas sticker is still on the fork of the Aende! Will look awesome once your done - glad that its getting geared up - exactly why i didnt do any surgery on it.
jajajaja
we have the same thoughts... the sticker, I love it there, so out of the sigh.
and the braze ons, before having the bike, i always though to have remove any braze ons in the next bike and to change the to track end, but after getting this one with that paint job, i just could not.Glad to see it and the good way to the road, well done

that sounds like
"I cant go back on what I said/admit im wrong so I will make up some poor excuse and keep my head up"
The guy asked for an opinion, I gave him one. If you think it's wrong then fine, but then that's your opinion. Sounds to me like he didn't really need an opinion anyway.

if that's 23.5, then I'm super jealous. Pretty damn similar to the Raleigh Pro Track right?

I know, I posted that same pic last night whilst blabbering about the 2 frames being the same..blah, blah,blah... the next thing I remember I´m going to try my luck a bit under the BIN price... and voilá.. it accepted my offer. Happy dayz!! : )
Will get it first to check condition, but will def take it to respray, new decals, the all lot. -

I was checking Carlton/Raleigh track frames from early 70s and chrome fork crown and stays was almost guaranteed, always. This one seems to have a chromed fork and stays as well. let´s wait and see.

I will try one of the Carlton classic paint schemes (Universal Cycle Centre, staffed by ex-Carlton Workshop), head-badge and decals.

This build is taking ages.
Still needs:
Black Stem
Matching Rims (Have my eyes on some black cxps)
Decent crank set
Decent Cassette
Decent Mech
Pedals
Shifters - can't decide on down tubes or bar ends, bar ends is currently winning but need aero bars (that fit, the cinellis on the table don't seem want to stay in place...)
A chain...
Where can I get some of those cable guides that go on the downtube, where the shifters should be?

I think I have approx. 50 sets from Shimano in my garage.
You can have some for free (just postage from NL).
But I guess there are other forummembers in UK / London were you can pick them up also.
And I saw them very cheap on Ebay / in a webshop as well.
Do not buy these for GBP 5.00 or more from other sellers.
Let me know.Just a hint: please assemble them with the barrel at the bottom. Not as in the picture!

Here are some pics of my new gazelle with some wheels in. Hopefully should have it built by the end of this week. Just waiting on some bars and a stem and a seatpost (27.0mm if anyone has one!)

Dutch Cheese - do you know where I could pick up some more info on the frame? according to the seller it was a special order model for a racer. I have the frame number...

I've never had the time to find out... Rotating however... Typing fail.
Food for thought thanks! I like the idea of not having aero bars as they look ugly as sin :-)
