the bike policy on eurostar is pretty easy, you just need something that ticks the box of a "bike bag" and the front wheel off ( or both if you feel brave )
Some of us just use bike covers flipped upside down and taped up, some use binbags to just cover the bike, whatever resembles a bag/cover is fine.
No need to book in advance or pay extra.
i am up for going there for the NYE itself, sounds like a good plan, but i would be going straight from poland anyway
