Yeah. Welding is one of the most useful things ever. I've made frames using tig and brazing before, and I'm making a street luge frame at the moment.

It was fillet brazed from butted 4130 tubing. Rode pretty nicely, but was a bit on the heavy side for competition stuff.
Buy your own welding kit and do it in your back garden, it's the best investment you'll ever make!
