cunts ride bikes too you know. -

Maybe when he lies in the hospital bed with his new oyster card at the ready and a huge stack of police forms, insurance papers and a bit of a head ache he might realise acting a selfish dick has consequences.
I wouldn't count on it, he probably blames everybody else but himself for the incident... The cyclists for daring to be on the road and make him overtake or the other cars for not getting out of his way enough and making him swerve or something.

Good grief !
The bloke was a fucking idiot, he risked people's lives for (if our reasoned assumptions are right) some light entertainment - through his unthinking stupidity and aggression he fucked himself and his car.
This is all good, he managed to not kill any children or adults, and removed himself - hopefully for an extended period of time - from the position where he can do that again.
That's about the end of it, we can rationalise and intellectualise the situation, and it would have been nice for everyone - the driver included - if he acted with a little more empathy and compassion, but he didn't and fucked himself - pretty much the best outcome as far as I can see.
And nobody is 'wishing' harm on anyone - what is being express is post hoc, he fucked himself, people are saying "you stupid cunt" - they are right.
yeah, that's what I meant to say :p
+1.

The driver of the German car did yell at the cyclists twice before they danced into his path.

Maybe he hasn't had many good things happen to him? life delt him a rough hand
Maybe driving quickly and aggresively is normal behaviour in his eyes?
Maybe he doesn't see it as a threat to others?
What if he has had several cyclists cut him up and act agressively to him when his son/daugter was in the car?Maybe when he lies in the hospital bed with his new oyster card at the ready and a huge stack of police forms, insurance papers and a bit of a head ache he might realise acting a selfish dick has consequences.
I wouldn't wish harm on anyone but if some tool got kicks out of driving at me and i saw him upside down a little battered and his car written off i'd pull a front row seat, get a coffee have a fucking good laugh watching the cold realisation of his stupidity come crashing down on him.
Maybe he will come up with some reason why it is not his fault and infact he was perfectly correct, if only the other car had not done xyz, if only the speed limit was 60 mph if only ...

Tell this to the medical profession. sigh
The medical profession has a problem with pronunciation more than anything. For example "clostridium difficle" is Latin, and should be pronounced closs-trid-ee-um diff-ick-ill-ay. Not closs-trid-ee-um diff-ee-seal. It's Latin. Latin, Latin, Latin. Not French.
They let anyone into medical school these days.

really glad none of you were hurt and that there were no other cyclists or walkers in his path. this kind of recklessness is frightening and perfect demonstrates how so many drivers don't ever consider they are chucking a couple of tonnes of metal around. could have been so much worse.

I linked to a good article in this thread (I tried to correct he spelling mistake in the title but computer said no) which raises the issues of the increasable lack of regulation there is for cars when compared to most other dangerous machinery.

Clostridium diff-each-ilay, surely? Certainly the Italian word *difficile *(I'm not sure about Latin, I went to a hardnut comprehensive) is pronounced that way, c before i is usually spoken soft, as in 'cheese'.
Anyway
For the record, I don't wish that he is permanently brain damaged either. In fact, I retract everything I have ever said on this forum, including this.
.... But in general I agree with Oliver....
Oooh me too. Don't we all? He is, after all, fucking great.

Latin has a hard 'c' like your comprehensive (and mine).
