Nice classic saddle on a horrible bike in Amsterdam:
whats up with that bike?
it appears to have dura-ace calipers and nice cranks.

Okay, maybe not horrible, but I don't want to give EUR 250.- for that.
Brakes are Shmn 600 or lower, ugly stem, fork not really nice, I guess frame same range (= not Model Campagnolo).
I'm certainly not a Campag freak or Shmn hater, but I just want to express that this is not the kind of product most people hope to find under decals of RIH.By the way: there's a lot of RIH shit on the market. Not made by Bustraan & V.d. Kaaij in Amsterdam but by Cové in Blerick near Venlo. Perhaps this one comes from A'dam, but it's not their flagship.
The saddle is a rare classic tho'.
Once I had one, but didn't use it a lot. Perhaps it wasn't comfy. Review on Velobase.com is also "not very positive". Still a nice wannahave as long as it suits your bum or as long as you don't ride it. -

my eyes must be bad, i thought i could read 'ace' on the calipers.
edit: should learn to read, he does say shim 600 components in the ad.

And the pics are not mirrored.
Cheaper brake arches have the cable attachment and QR on the "wrong" side like on these pics.
Dura Ace and most other hi end models have them like most brake arches nowadays. -

Possible Mercian frame? Lugs look right, but I'm no expert :)

seller: Previous owner had erased transfers prior to painting, he said it was a Mercian, but I haven,t been able to confirm this.

just fair, not a bargain

Still, it's a niceish frame hiding under a horrible paintjob though. Good enough for a conversion if it goes for peanuts.

Good deal?
Same kind of thing but cheaper

Not sure of the quality but for the price you can't really argue.
