as someone who can skid comfortably i still felt uncomfortable last week when my front brake cable snapped
the prospect of riding without any form of actual brake (ie method to rapidly deccelarate) just sounds stupid
am assuming the OP is slightly young and reckless - i do remember drunkenly using mopeds when 19 on the greek islands, with hindsight possibly one of the most fucking stupid things I have done (others here can probably point out a whole load of moronic shit i have done as well)
so yep, we all do stupid shit, but learning from it is the most important thing
when i first saw this thread pop up I was worried that the OP had learnt the lesson the hard way and so was actually relieved that common sense had prevailed, rather than becoming intimately acquainted with a car/lorry/wall/pedestrian
