Well to be fair i am not a ROG fan, he alway seems to bottle it when the chips are down on teh big stage - IMO as soon as Ireland bin him and get Staunton on the better.
I am kinda with Markyboy on the fan front - i went to one of the leading rugby playing public schools in the country, where all that matter was whether the 1st 15 won or lost - everything else was secondary, including academia, and the training was near enough professional level. I always loved playing, even going on to play some club rugby, but hated the rugger bugger side of things.
Having said that, i have a fair few friends who are top professionals, and all of them do not remotely resemble a rugger bugger - most dont even drink, and the training routines they put themselves through are pretty insane
