braker, I've done a quick mock up for you, using the same geometry as your design (and same colour scheme!), but with a shape I feel will give you a stiffer, stronger frame. I think it looks a bit less ridiculous too...
The only issue with this is the lower handlebars, but I'm sure this can be dealt with by using different stem/bar/stacker combinations.
