  • The making a loss i'm not bothered about. The truth is i get bored with bikes quickly and im always looking for the next project.I know the style of bikes i like isn't to everyones taste.

  • +1

Its a tyre and a chain - big deal, not exactly hard for someone to change over.

Original? Are you having a bubble?

    I'm genuinely lol'ing at this.

Huh? This has to be one of the least original bikes I've ever seen!

Show me another bike on here that looks just like this one and I'll eat my words. Looks different to the vast majority of fixed wheel bikes I see on the road, on rides and at drinks.

Well not everyone wants to look like Batman.

  • repped!

Your talking about aesthetics, yeah not important. The rear tyre and chain *are *a big deal if you actually ride.

  • That tyre is fine as long as you use a break (not pictured). And as for the chain its a KMC nothing wrong with that it just happens to be yellow.

  • Ok that is true. My point is that these are not parts you'd fit if you nailed hard miles and were spending a packet building a nice new bike. That's all.

I want to leave it alone but then hoonz chimes in! ;-)

  • Not a fan of the whole bike, but if you do split can i dib the Bars and seat post please?

  • Well I think the bike would look fine with the tire and chain swapped out, good build Johnny.

On a serious note, how much are you really looking at for this bike?

  • yeah using a break will definitely make the pink tyre fine.

  • are you sure? i'd have thought you'd be better off using a brake.

  • shame its not baby blue.

  • Where is the brake on this bike? It says there is a brake lever. What does it pull?

  • .

  • ^ forms checking himself ^

  • I see that bike as a very well-executed work of art. It should be looked after - not split. IMHO

  • Thanks Gooner appreciate it

  • You're welcome - look forward to seeing your next project - and hope this one finds a good home.

  • Yup. Bikes are not just the future of transportation on this planet - they also allow people to express and explore their aesthetic sensibilities and creativity. As bike builder Grant Petersen said:

'Think of bicycles as rideable art that can just about save the world."

  • "Think of bicycles as rideable art that can just about save the world."
And he still wasn't silly enough to ride a pink plastic tyre.

    :o

  • and was'nt silly enough to make faces with punctuation

  • :p
