Yep, the ride up Mow Cop is amazing. I did it a couple of years ago, when the route was a bit shorter. It's bout 30 odd miles out of Manc so would be worth a reccie. You climb 14, 15 then 16% for a mile or so and are faced with this wall of road. You get a medal for completing the climb without walking!
