Oh, and Rule 6: Be incredibly lucky at rolling dice. :) I didn't win at Risk often, but when I did, that's why I won.

Kind of but like backgammon and yahtzee there's a big element of knowing what to do with the numbers that you get. I watched a game played between one person using four sided dice against people using sixes and he stayed on to second to last.
