prouve's grasp of form is simply amazing, as you say substantial but understated, the book cases he made with perriand are amazing.the only thing not understated is the price.
people keep finding a warehouse full of leg splints from time to time, there great items.
i still love eames furniture even though it's over exposed, i've packed alot up and put into storage for a few years.
it's the eames rocker, banksy print set who kill it, they will do the same with bikes, pushing the price up, the fixed thing is already a london cliche.
