Depressingly, Clive Walker and Butch Wilkins were the first of a genreation of footballers who were the same age as me. Something worrying happens when footballers are no longer people to look up to and you realise that you are too old to be one.
Peter Borota was wonderful. He was from the really crap period but very entertaining. Smioked like a trooper and ended up in gaol (rather than goal) in Yugoslavia, I seem to recall.
