An interesting point but Jacobsen died in the seventies and do you know what I reckon he'd have been ok with it. The chair was designed for a hotel and how can you be so fascist about who buys your furniture? It;'s the company , not the designer trying to make it precious and therefore keep the prices up. Serves them right it got ripped off.
