I had a strange one at Stockwell the other week, some drinks early birds will remember what kind of mentalist he'd struck me at the time...
I become aware of half-wheeling drafter as I slow up to some lights. It felt like his chin was on my right shoulder when I turned round, I jumped out of my skin at his ugly mug right up close!
Skully: It's rude to draft with out asking mate.
Drafter: Don't fucking start you picked the wrong bloke
S: (scared): um yea well I was just saying please don't sit right on my whe...
D: Don;t fucking start shut it you pisked the wrong
S: alright mate keep your hair on, thing is I might slow down quite suddenly when ...

I hate the SW London noddotons.I should add I do not endorse Surly. But i'd like a LHT.

@ DJ - nice one. I had something very similar once. A dude very nearly went into the back of me at some lights and when I politely asked him what the hell he was doing he said "I didn't see you use your brake, so didn't know you were stopping". to which I replied "I dont have a (back) brake, this is a fixed gear bike, I don't need one" so he said "that means it's your fault and you're being dangerous". he then RLJ'd and latched on to the wheel of another RLJ'er. Hopefuly they were happy together. Tool.

i had a brilliant conversation with another cyclist yesterday
he was trying to draught me, when the lights ahead changed to red i skidded to a halt and he just missed running into me.
DJ - you should be more careful draughting fixed gear riders, our braking is very different to a freewheel bike
idiot - but you should not be on the road playing games
DJ- what games, i was cycling along and you almost ran into me because you were trying to race me
idiot - stop poncing around on your poncy fixie and get a real bike

no it isn't. you can brake differently on either bike, he'd have run into you if you stopped a geared bike sharply with it's brakes.
sounds like he was going to run the red and expected you to do the same, so he's a double cunt twice over with bells on, whereas you are just a nasty man.

nodder starts drafting or being a dick, take your speed right down until you can hear him clicking the gears down [taking care to ride middle lane so they can't pass either side]
after a few clicks down to a lower gear, stamp on it and listen to their frantic upshifting
repeat at will
I played NodderDerny with some twunt from vauxhall to battersea and got him 4 times
