  • Will make a beautiful fixed or a vintage roadie. Refurbed for a window display near Bath when the Tour Of Britain was in our neck of the woods this year. Build this up for less than the price of a f'kin Plug, Langster or some other ME-Too wannabee taiwanese heap, and get a really unique ride. Beautiful engraved brass headbadge. Tough powdercoated black - goes with everything. Usual spacing 100/120. English BB. Believed to be '60's era; number stamped into seat tube lug "36054 E". Can't find much on BSA serial numbers - leave that to the anoraks.
    Anyone interested? 54cm. £250.

  • Looks like an expensive tank

Each to their own Olly. It's lighter than a Surly Steamroller frame and the last time I rode one of those it was a joy.

  • Quite nice. not 250-nice though.
These frames just aren't that rare, and have gone for less with more.

  • gorgeous baby black

Where the hell are you getting that price mate. honestly.

    What tube set is it?

I recently sold a gaspipe bsa complete bike for 45 and i thought that was a bit OTT.

Whats honestly wrong with a langster or a plug. both good reliable bikes. (for the record i ride neither)

drop your price by £150 and you might get a sale.

  • drop your price by £225 and you might get a sale.

Not really going to add anything to this thread, just bored, frustrated and want to lay into an easy victim...

Its not fucking re-furbed is it... you've just powder coated it black and stuck some new decals - lets have some before and after shots too pls. Where did you get it done? Argos?

For a window display? Why bc it looked nice but wasn't worth building into a bike?

Build up for less than a plug or Lanc? What when you're buying the frame for £250! Not fucking likely!

Unique? - original marketing spiel, I'm convinced!

Anyone interested? I think you know the ans. to that one.

£250? What is this based on... a link to a finished ebay auction will surffice.

  • Give me a good reason why I should not spend £50 more on a Surly Steamroller.

That frame is design for poor road condition, which explain the 'unique' relaxing ride that's impossible to turn at high speed. It's design for 27" wheels, it doesn't have any special tubing, just heavy standard gaspipe (from the look of it), it's a BSA ([FONT=Arial]Birmingham Small Arms Company Limited), a very common type of bike.

don't be a poppycock and lower the price for something a bit more respectful.

  • £250!!!

the last bsa i had was given to me for free!

Actualy that is seriously nice - check out the fork detailing. Looks like the original paint job too!

  • ooo... didn't see it was 351 DB. Thats a pretty sweet deal.... hummm... just a bit big, but seriously tempted.

Someone best snap it up quick.

Less than the price of a Plug, Langster or any other heap... would prob be a really unique ride and build up cheaper too.

  • ill take that bsa. pm'd

not your one, the 50 quid one

  • yeah, that's a really nice frame!
