Mine sits at the end of my bed.
No photo, it's not that hard to picture.

Is this a (fairly transparent) way to post your bike up on the forum without getting shouted at for newbie errors?

Word of warning: this is visible to anyone with an internet connection. I'd rather not give bike thieves any information on where bikes are likely to be kept.

Mental, hallway is winning.
WE NEED A POLL

Unfortunately for me I have to keep my bike in my hallway, if a thief breaks in my house hes basically going to trip over my bike. Would have thought its pretty likely for most people to keep them in their hallways, and thieves aren't stupid so may be able to work thus out for themselves. lol

Yeah all those bike thieves who know where everyone live will have a field day

@bainbridge No it's not. As a bit of background I'm doing a design project to encourage people to cycle. Thought that a new way of storing a bike could be one of (many) solutions. As part of this I thought it would be interesting to see how these bikes are stored - I did a survey of 170 cyclists and most kept the bike in the hall.
No worries if you don't want to post a pic, but pics would be good as it helps to show actual real life ways people store bikes.
@recon under the bed is a new one!
I'm keeping a blog of the project at http://leewashington.blogspot.com should you want to find out more

I use my bikes as my lavatory ornaments.
one is used as a towel rack, one as the bidet, and one as the centerpiece of the room.
I also use one in the kitchen as my Cornballer (tm) stand.Information in this post may or may not be true.

This has kinda been covered before, mainly in the 'Cycle Hooks' sale thread, and in some other storage option threads.

That being said,, here's a pic of where I store mine. (Two of these have now gone tho, one sold, one returned to George Sportif)

Here you go.
Very useful little under stairway cutout of the wall keeps me from falling over it -

Both in the kitchen - one hanging and the other on a stand with my wife on guard. MTBs are in the garden chained to the drainpipe. BMX in the garden surrounded by brambles as a deterrent. Baby's 12" in the corridor, so the burglars can brake their legs in three places and get caught in tassels.

thanks - I'll also check out the other thread

Got two in my room, the one that's in regular use gets put next to the door (pictured) and the other one sits next to the bed. Neither are ideal but the rooms quite big so it's ok.

My went in/on my bed for about a month,
I have a king size bed with a mattress that is slightly smaller so i could lean my bike up and it would be completely out of the way.
Fell on top of me when i was asleeping once though -

I keep mine on Nelson Mandela:
Seriously though, I keep mine in the bike room.

One in the dinning room - which is hated by everyone who i share a roof with. One in the side passage, one (in pieces) in the shed, 2 in pieces in the top front (largely unused) bedroom - again much to the disdain of everyone i share a roof with.

Wow! Is it between the drawing room and the pantry? :-)

Hey I live in a flat above a restaurant, I deserve a little luxury =P

When I lived away from home they were kept in the bedroom at the end of the bed. At home they live in the garage surrounded by random motoring paraphernalia. A boot lid from a classic Mini, a trolley jack, a motorbike, a tyre, a set of wheels, and also 2 ladders.
That's not the entire contents of the garage, there's shit loads more, just what's clustered behind and around the bikes.

You mock but my friend had a bike room at uni. One of his housemates got bored of his course, dropped out, and moved out. That bedroom became the "bikeatorium".

My old flat had a bike room downstairs, with stands locked to the walls.
In my survey, 59% of cyclists keep their bikes in their house and I'm curious as to how they are kept! Many of the respondents keep the bike in their kitchen.
This is a call post a photo of your bike when not in use - are they hung on the wall? Or just kept in the hallway.
here's where my bike is kept when not in use.
