First gig was Dr Feelgood at Letchworth County Fair in 1990ish? I was about 14, dropped off outside by Mum. Support was John Ottway. It was in a largely ampty marquee and i left to go "down the town" to talk to girls after about two songs of the headliners.
Guns 'n' Roses supported by Faith No More and Soundgarden at Wembley Stadium followed shortly thereafter.
Not cool but true.
Even less coolly, I've got a feeling mine was either the Manic Street Preachers or the Prodigy, both at the UEA, around 1992 if I'm remembering anything rightly; they were within a few weeks of each other. I never really liked either of them at all. The MSP's had just released Motorcycle Emptiness I think. At the Prodigy gig, Leroy the dancer pulled me up on stage and I had to dance. I was also about 14, the massive paedo. I'd taken half an 'ectasy' tablet that was blatantly aspirin. It did absolutely nothing to mitigate the humiliation.

My Dad picked me up.
