I've been too busy to lurk much this week, just catching up. This thread is fabtastic. Also i'd totally forgotten about the "this is brick lane my friend" thread. I just re-read it and did a massive lol at nimbhus' reply to the offer of "dog turd in a flaming bag?". Belated reps for that. Teens, you are fast acheiving iconic status dude. You're an inspiration.
First gig was Dr Feelgood at Letchworth County Fair in 1990ish? I was about 14, dropped off outside by Mum. Support was John Ottway. It was in a largely ampty marquee and i left to go "down the town" to talk to girls after about two songs of the headliners.
Guns 'n' Roses supported by Faith No More and Soundgarden at Wembley Stadium followed shortly thereafter.
Not cool but true.
