any chance that there's a salmon for 27" wheels instead of 700c?

I don't think so, we don't have 27" in France (or just few touring geeks maybe... I know "Paris Rando" could order some... cool shop in Paris if you go there http://www.rando-cycles.fr/performer.html)
I had never heard of 27"s before I moved to London...
I think the matter is not the radius of the mudgard, only a few millimeters O/A difference between 700c and 27" diameter, and with Salmons, since it's finaly just a plate (no side returns, ou can adjust that very easily)...
Apparently Salmon's don't have wider mudgards for the kind of tyres you find these days in 27 tyres (I mean what is generaly available without digging NOS stuff...)

I had the same conversation with Skully a few days ago which resulted in me ordering Gilles Berthoud stainless steel mudgard (in 40mm whide) for my touring bike (27 1-1/4 big fat gatorskin tyres) I should receive them next week, so if you want to see what they look like, we could meet at some drinks... My feel is that they are be as smart / sharp as Salmons, but, in my case they should suit the look of my bike... I hope!
