IMHO it only looks nice if the decals, or some part of the graphics, are in white. That merkx would look better with yellow saddle and bar tape to match the logo.
For the record, the XC bike I'm putting together has white saddle; grips; and rims. This looks a bit shite untill you get the bike seriously muddy, then it looks great (again IMHO).
