Overweight 'should be protected'

this is stupid, comparing the like of racism and sexism to someone being overweight, fat people are at higher health risks then someone of average weight so a doctor saying to someone they need to loose a few pounds/stones is in the benefit of the patient!

anything that raises the risk of ones health should not be passed as the norm.

It's the abuse suffered that is being compared, not the implications of falling within a particular stereotype that attracts abuse from the ill-informed (or thick cunts, if you prefer).
