Hobo, if I had my way, that 30stone boy's parents would be in prison.
The RSPCA can take animals that are ill through obesity from their owners. Sadly it is more difficult with human beings. Dogs can't get lawyers, and there is the crux. We can defend the indefensible.
It may have been noticed, that I think fat is good. Its sexy, and its comforting - just hug a bag of bones to prove my argument. But chronic obesity is an illness, that is morbidly debillitating. I've seen fat and healthy people, but also fat and very unhealthy people. Its the latter that need to change their diets, exercise habits, and maybe get counselling help. The other fatties, like me, are okay. Well, sort of okay then. :)
