Make sure your bike is locked to something solid not a short post where it can be picked up and lifted over. Lock wheels to frame to post. 2 locks if possible. A decent d-lock is a must (£50+).
As I was locking my bike up the other day, there was a new looking fixed wheel bike leaned up against a secure bike stand, locked with 2 decent big locks but not to the actual stand!
It could've easily been picked up and carried off to a workshop, shed, garden etc where power tools can easily be used (in no rush) to remove the locks.
