  • I liked the Thames Inn when we migrated there the other week. You'll find it Nhatt. You're like a courier or something aren't you? I'm not going to be able to stay for long though I'm afraid.

  • Cheers Dammit, maybe i'll stop off for a pint on the way home after a long day of learning and that.

  • Yeah, I've had it with the south easts on tour. That's the point. Won't bother going till someone puts their foot down and says where it is.

  • We'll have been to the Thames side for three weeks in a row as of tonight- it seems to be the current home.

I still favour returning to the Roebuck as I really like it, but see no harm in going to the Thames side tonight.

If nothing else it will tell us how cold it's going to get beside the river.

  • nhatt, i'll be there and would like to see you :)

*she'll come, i know it ... most def

    please, it'll be fun.

  • Just spoken to Timmy and in doing so remembered that the pub is by the Golden Hinde- a wooden ship in a dry dock.

If Nhat as an ex messenger cannot find that then heaven help her.

  • ah ^that's the name of the old pirate bucked...

  • It may not be- I reserve the right to be wrong on the name of the ship.

  • Yah, you should come Nhatt. If Jenny makes another appearance then we'd have three Americans. Enough for a trifecta of Americana. Think three pronged attacks and shock and awe. It could be great...

  • It totally is the Golden Hind. I remember visiting it when I was 8. I know I was 8 because I quite liked it, and my aunt made me a cake that looked like it for my birthday when I was 9. The cake-ship was called The Golden Nine. Get it? Hind / Nine. You get it.

Incredible! That's it. I'm having one for my next birthday.

  • Nice to see everyone and get totally dropped by reeen on my way home!

  • our pleasure

  • I went on that ship when it was new. It was only built in 1984.

That's a nice pub. Roebuck is nicer, but this is closer to civilisation, and nicely kept ale.

Good to meet you Mr East End Images. With that user name I wanna see you at Easts tomorrow, sort it out.:-)

    Good to meet Serk too.

  • The thing is, my wife works on Wednesday and I babysit :-/

  • nice to see every one, felt like it was a chatty table we had. i liked that hot cider+ale+honey stuff

    ...hmmm honeeey!

@timmy: i didn't drop you, you fell back ;) but noice roide none the less. i'd say, a morning run like that to work with you would be absolute fun and possibly a new best time in my morning nodders TT. thanx for the longboard vid, these gentlemen are fascinatingly nutter fast™ *press_replay
your backup light clip is ace, i got to get me one of those!

    and i missed you nhatti.
and i liked the east end images' new build

    ...all a fun eve!

  • ah *erm yes!

    *giggles

Whaa...? Err.. Yeah, thanks. I promise to stop building bikes after dark :-)
It was nice to see you, to see you nice.

  • I comepletely forgot last night. I'm putting next week in my diary ffs. Sorry about this guys, I am hella busy at the moment. Juggling fulltime BA final year, with fulltime job. Fun fun fun.

Seriously, I will probably be dead before next beers. I am exhausted.

  • I went to the Hospital in the end, sorry I didn't make it.

  • You OK Nhatt?

All. In case you didn't already know, tomorrow BRM's starting a little friday night thing in a bar down south east way... It's only five minutes from New Cross, at Jam Circus on Brockley Road, so I hope some of you in places like Peckham/Dulwich/New Cross/Deptford/Lewisham or nearby will consider yourselves welcome. It should be fun and will be regular if all goes to plan.

    See ya.

  • Shall we stage at the Hermits Cave/Roebuck/some other agreeable pub then ride down together?

  • ^^ yeah, come down dudes.

  • Like the idea. We just signed the lease for the place in New Cross Gate, so...well, I should get to know my neighbors.
I'm fine, btw, I went to see hoontz

  • my ladyfriend just moved to Brockley, just down the A20 from New Cross.

New Cross isn't as bad as I thought.
