dont listen to them, if you like it then that's what matters. It's very satisfying finishing your first build.
this isn't aimed at you, but everyone who does it, what's the deal with different wheels on the front and back? It annoys me that my beater has different wheels, on my good bike I'd want matching wheels for sure
by the way, if anyone has a 32 hole mavic MA-40 going, let me know

Hey Plastic Pedals, I have the same rims front and back... but in different colours. And I chose it that way.
Annoyed?

Cuz itz sick init!
.... seriously tho I think it comes from couriers fixxxin up old road bikes and just changing the rear bc its the only one you need to change...
...since then it has moved to the mainstream and is more a nod to fixieings cultural routes than anything else (bc if you can spend £100+ on cranks/hubs/etc you can afford to match your rims).
NB. [BTW all of this is fact not opinion so you can't disagree]

A theif broke my sexy back wheel :(
should look at getting it fixed. need the money, and its not as bad as i thought so thats why I ride around on a super cheap rear and a slightly expensive front...
you asked. -

I'm gonna swap Spastic Pedal's wheels in the night.
**29" mtb front.
**
Camapag Disc rear. -
• #84
Good idea... max grip for the front and keeping it slim on the rear for maximum skidz...
...might try it myself...
...when I actually have a fg to fuckin ride!

We'll only laugh at you if you create a dedicated thread to it and call it a 'babe'...
Post it in the 'Current Projects' thread :)

With bullhorns, that sounds quite big. I'm 6'1" and ride a 53cm frame for time trials. With drops, a 56cm fits me perfectly.

This needs to be posted just once more I feel...
-

@ MT - are you serious...? fair enough, never done any TT, I was thinking more along the day-to-day bike fit, I'm only 6'1" and would feel a bit cramped on anything less than 59cm. Horses for courses I gess.
Have you got a short torso?

It does seem to be a good time for eBay at the moment. A few things I have sold recently (bass related rather than bike) have gone for far more than they were worth.
Either that recession thing is over or it has just mentally affected people...
