The reason I'm holding out some hope is that at 10am, there are usually scores of people twittering about such an accident or delays or whatever. The news services also tend to make it onto the scene and yet google news and twitter are both coming up empty.

Sad news. Hoping it wasn't fatal too.
That new road layout is a right mess. It's much busier now and more confusing. I have been beeped numerous times, while waiting to turn right into Leman St, by drivers who don't realise it's a right turn only lane.

This news is tragic. I can't believe it's happenned again so soon. My thoughts are with the victim and the familly.

just saw on twitter that a woman got hit by the 29 somewhere in London today and was taken away in ambulance. Hope you ok lady. Any more info on this Leman St incident? Every time I read these threads I just freak out...lets hope it wasn't a fatality...Digger - was that confirmed? :( x

My friend who witnessed it says there is no doubt, a guy crawled under the bus to attempt to help but there was nothing to be done, my friend found a link to a report on a local London news service, which I haven't managed to find, she says the cyclists name was Claire. My friend says she will send me the link tomorrow and I will post it here.
