Ohh!!!!! Sorry, but I am not your bike frame builder...

This is my first fixed build - frame donated by chance by nextdoor neighbour, all other bikes have been retired over the last month as this is just so good to ride. May not be to everyones taste but i think it's wicked.
Spent less than £200 on it too, saying that though it needs new cranks + bb

Sweet LOOK frame. Sell on eBay and use the money to get a track frame.
Thank you for the compliment, ...blah,....blah.... I would like also bought some track frame, but I have ALAN TITANAL road frame, which is a rarity, too.
See http://www.zdendablog.blogspot.com/ for my singlespeed projects

Heh, nice Porker! You look like a slim Adrian Chiles.
He was refering to the Look bicycle, not yours
However that is a nice job you have done on the Torpedo
Dear Crispin, I googled Adrian Chiles.... Send your photo Crispin!!!! Or you looks lipe Putin? :o)
Are you guys all pissed already?

I'm getting one of these beauties. Light as hell at 666g (lighter when I get my plastic belt ring on there), and with an oversized spindle for added stiffness.

Those are beautiful, you've just made my mind up for me.
Just ordered some Midges now as well!

Picked this up for free at the weekend, wheels an' all. Going to build first geared bike. Does anyone know the model? KG281 maybe?
Look like an Alan, but then I could be very wrong.

Clearly too big for you though - give it to me.

It is Look, Alan have another connection parts. But rear ends look same that Alan. Alan technology used Ernesto Colnago at Carbitubo frames early 90s (twice down tube), and germany Schauff for high-end trekking frames (Trocadero model).
I like old glued alu or carb frames (this Look), Alan (my heart), or Trek oclv...

Yes it is on the large side, but I'll cope!

my friend had one of those looks. From the same time as team kelme sponsorship. They last well but watch out for cracks around the bonding to the alu lugs... As for the selling on ebay to buy a new track frame they dont tend to fetch huge prices these days... i say build it geared. They would suit the mavic groupsets from that era... french to french!

Should have my Ribble TT finished by the end of the week, here it is at the moment:
Still to come black Syntace stem, gunmetal 3t bullhorns with white tape, Campy sti's, Campag chorus chainset (c record era), look keo carbons, plain black tyres.

Re-jigged the FES, gone a little more classic. I know you shouldn't mix Campag and Shimano, but budget/time do not allow for searching for another C-Record chainset and seatpost. So, mix it is.

With a frame like that, i'd think you didnt have a budget at all.

SOAR that picture does show how awesome the paintjob is, the photo at Rapha doesn't do it justice.
-
• #16873
SOAR that is a bike where Aerospokes would look alright
I finished this today, then had to unfinish it, the black seatpost looked wank so if anyone's got a silver 26.4mm seatpost for sale, I will probably buy it

It might be a slight 'aero post won't go down far enough' fail but measuring to the BB it might be spot on. Got to wait till I get it built to see if it fits properly.
+1 on the space bike madness. Thought I was looking at a photochop at first! Nice though.
