Did he do you a discount to say that? ;)

I'd say all the boys at Epic Cycles in Worcestershire deserve a wee mention. I got my road bike from them and they went out their way to make it the smoothest, easiest transaction possible. Friendly blokes, great knowledge, no pushy sales patter. Everything you want from a bike shop. If only I didn't live 250 miles away.....
Also my new hairdresser (ahem barber((ette)) gave me a bottle of peroni to drink while i was getting my last haircut. she also managed to conjure up an almost believable sexual tension between us during the shearing. respect to her.

Freshtripe (www.freshtripe.co.uk)
They've got a nice selection of kit - I've bought Nitto bars and seatpost and Sugino cranks from them - and the prices are very good. Excellent service as well, all my orders arrived next day.

Just bought some lovely Swrve gear from www.alwaysriding.co.uk - Arrived next day but unfortunately the jacket was the wrong size. Pete from Always Riding let me drop by (Wandsworth) to try on a different one and stopped for a cup of tea and a chat. Great guy, great service - Thanks!

Edwardes were brilliant today. Was having dsome parts taken from one bike and put onto a new frame. Went in at 11 with the bike and bike was ready by 5 with no charge for the service. Possible the best bike shop service ive ever had. Highly recommended.

I took my bike down to Brick Lane Bikes yesterday for a pre-winter service (although to be honest the gears, chain and bottom bracket hadn't been looked at for years), and to get a couple of modifications done. I dropped it off at 11 and picked it up at 6. The two mechanics and the ladies working behind the counter couldn't have been more helpful and they did an excellent job, it's like riding a new bike now.

Went back to London Fields Cycles yesterday as my shoes I managed to strip the thread of the insert. Nice chap with long hair and massive glasses sorted me out with a new insert for free - thank you again!

Spitalfields Cycle Surgery- always a pleasure.
Sorted out my disintegrating S-Works shoes and ensured that all expensive purchases will continue to be made there.

Simpsons in Gospel Oak (my LBS) for selling me a Park pedal spanner which on the web is at least £26 for £19 because 'they've gone up, we paid the old price for it so it wouldn't be fair to sell it to you for the new price'. And giving me a bike box the other week while being really helpful about it, even though it didn't cost me a penny.

Ordered a BB from Velosolo expecting it to take ages and get lost in post mayhem, but it was with me within 2 days (ordered afternoon -- so more like one day really) and had a personally signed note on the receipt. Nice to have a bit of a human touch to an internet transaction. Impressed all round.

Mike at Banjo Bros agreed to replace it no questions asked - massively impressed..

I absolutely love the Haribo from Wiggle. Every now and then you'll get two in a box.
After a slightly lean patch, I got 3 bags of haribo in one box from wiggle the other day

I'd like to shout out to:
Holdsworth and Will at Hubjub.
Both of whom have been amazing.
Will for helping me with a difficult order, and Holdsworth for today having all the parts I needed, and doing the work I wanted done whilst I was mooching around looking at the porn worthy Old Holdsworths, and Colnagos that were gracing the store.
Heroic. -

London fields cycls, they are all extremly nice, and unlike many other bike shops in the area, dont just try to sell you stuff you dont need.
+1 to all of the above.
With that in mind - Cliff at Royce is an absolute legend. There are many out there that would have lost their patience with my incessant emailing but he's been nothing but super helpful and patient.
