Just looking at the previous GC listings I noticed a mistake in the GC after stage 6. I appear to only have been given 9 points instead of 16.

it may be to do with the regs of the tour - only your top five races count. if you have done more than five then you will drop your worst result and gain the better result. so it is possible that you gained a net 9.

so please confirm whether you definitley think it is wrong.

I didn't expect you to add all the others (though if you could keep the ones between me and gus that would be great :-D)

it appears that only 4 on there have previously done a stage of the tour. and one of those is hillbilly who has said he is not running with the tour.

Me thinks Blue Quinn be rather hasty in calling it a stage particularly as no part of the event was east of Oxford Circus...but then he needs every precious point he can forrage

Oh right, if you are dropping the lowest results as you go then that might explain it, cos nobody else has done all the stages. I have not done the maths, I just noticed I picked up more points than my total went up by.

If you want to discount the rollers and run stage 7 on the road then I don't mind.

ANYWAY, quite apart from the Tour of East London, East Beers has a NEW Time Trial Champion!

Following the classic 2-roundabout course (as opposed to the 1 pint course) I can now announce that LYNX has set a new record time of 1:44.7

The gauntlet has been well and truly laid down....

I've checked the regulations and I don't think the bike was to UCI standards.
It had a V-twin engine for a start.

Yes, there will be Easts tomorrow, and yes it's at the Inn On the Park.
We're usually outside with the bikes locked to the inside of the railings.
