This winter I will be mostly wearing...

I've worn earmuffs on the bike in winter ever since I was a kid, as I get really bad earache from the wind on the bike. Problem is, the only ones you can get are those fluffy ones and they make you look like a dick and/or a toddler. I've found this hat which I may splash out for to solve the problem:

there are at least a bakers dozen of these kinds of hats. buy in person! Some of the flaps don't do much other than scoop the cold air directly into your ear. You need a pretty snug fit that goes well below the hear. That said, i'[m not familiar with the temps in winter london. Where I ride it's -20 after the sun sets.
