Well I have done a search but my searchfu skills are poor.

Is there a definitive thread about cycle security, on the stolen bike thread there isn't really mention of the locks/security that were defeated, maybe it should mention, if known, how the lock was defeated.

Clearly not. But you have been pointed to the Stolen Bikes thread where the question has been asked but not answered.

So what kind of lock/chain/security combo would you recommend? Should we divide a section so we can provide advice for differing price brackets. Is this here already?
