Having had motorcycles stolen, I learnt, the hard way, that thacham and sold secure security standards are a joke. If you don't believe me you tube captain cropper.
That lock thread mentions size, ok important but not as important as the method the metal parts are harded etc, it also affected by the shape of the security (square, round or oval etc). Yes I learnt alot (Thanks to Maxine at almaax and capt cropper) it also that anything that carries the nme Oxford I will avoid after having so many of their gold secure chains/cable gone through in seconds silently.
We have many stolen bike threads, there doesn't seem to be a mention of the security breached, and how. That way with knowledge we can be better prepared to defeat bike thieves.
