Sounds like an impossible problem to solve. Throw the bikes in the bin.

Throw the flat in the bin and live in the bike. Seems like the best solution

Seeing as you have not mentioned your finances I will assume you do not have any restrictions so...
Move out of the flat and get a 3 bed house with a double garage, keep the bikes in the garage, put the GF in one room, move your concubine into another room and then fill another room with animal porn, TV's and an Xbox gaming chair.
That's what Hippy would do.

Convince your gf to become vegan. She'll have too much shit to worry about with her diet to fuss over the bike.

My gf was unhappy about me keeping bikes inside (in the hallway, luckily kinda out of the way) but if there's one thing she hates more than dirty bikes inside, its me spending wads of cash and time replacing them when they get stolen. So in they came. My babies! even when watching the tv with my arm around her i can see a back wheel out of the corner of my eye just so i know its still there. good looking back wheel too.

I got a couple of these going spare:

£9 each, £10 posted. They're great. I just installed two high up on a wall, so have four bikes where two used to fit.
My mrs doesn't like the look of bikes hanging on the wall. Oh well.

2 bikes in living room, two more bikes in the spare room, one frame and fork in the cellar.

bikes outside = rusty or stolen...
covering it doesn't stop it rusting at all... -

skully, those brackets look like a good idea, I might take one off your hands in the near future

Just tell her you've got a mistress - one who allows bike in bed. Tell her you'll give it all up if she becomes more understanding?
Buy her a bike or something she loves (puppy) and tell her its got to stay outside...
Keep all the ones you don't use regularly at your mates house (build shed in yard). -

I have a nice new shed on order, just for my bikes. I'll be pouring the concrete base on Saturday.

Combination of my bikes and me Julie's.
One in the hall (hers)
One in the kitchen (mine)
One in the Study (hers)
Two more in the Study (mine)
As my bikes have steadily got nicer over the last couple of months, I have started coming to the realisation that I am very soon going to have to leave something quite nice, outside to face the elements.
I can get away with a frame under the settee and wheels hanging in the airing cupboard, but when my new bike is going to be fully built I can't see it going down well if I say it MUST be kept indoors
I have tried weaning the mrs onto the idea of keeping a bike inside our 1 bedroom flat by just leaving my bike inside, working on it in the kitchen etc, but I know she's the opposite of keen on the idea.
My outside space is under a balcony, so it's not like leaving it in the open, but it's still exposed to a wet and constantly changing atmosphere
I'm considering getting a moped cover or something. In my last flat I had a similar situation for my motorbike and used a waterproof cover under a stairwell which worked okay, but not brilliantly
What do you do?
