Is search broken? I get this when I try and use the top right box at the moment: "Your submission could not be processed because a security token was missing"
I'm getting that too, but only in Opera. In Firefox, it's just bouncing back to the home page. That's using the "handy" search box. Using the advanced search, I get no results regardless of search criteria, in either browser.

I want colour, I want graphics... but I couldn't tolerate that horrible header we had whilst waiting for the designers I've reached out to to get back to me.
I've fixed the search... another CTRL+F5 for you all.
I also agree with the hover thing... very tempted to make it all clicky as a delay is hard on a web page and not a browser. Most research is about client UI. If I'm wrong, find me the research.

It works perfectly for me. Change is as good as it is important. Without change, yet another trigger-happy slack-jawed knuckle-dragger like George Bush would still be in charge.

Another vote for having a more easily accessible 'UserCP' link--that's the link I use the most. Speaking of elegance, it might be more elegant not to have the duplication of 'UserCP' in the new tab and 'Control Panel' in the actual tab content ('ribbon'? not sure about the technical term).
Perhaps something like three 'quick links' buttons to the right of 'Miscellany' for the most-used functions might work, like UserCP and Posts?
In the 'Forums' tab, 'Announcements' is bounced to the next line for me (FF).
But good work, it looks like a well-thought out addition.

Hmm, the research is general HCI stuff. I remember reading that making the menu work with a delay was the number one improvement that MS guinea pig users asked for.
Totally understand if it is tricky to do in the page though. I presume you are just using the standard mouseover attribute in the tag, rather than attaching to any JS events?

Actually I do think if the polo lot get there own link the trackies should too!
Like it, had some issues in Chrome earlier on but they seem to have gone.
It is easier to find, everything. If that makes sense.
And I think the improved visibility of the search will pay dividends.
How do I get to the trackies forum now?

header is not working on iphone, the button bar for posts, forums, classifieds etc are not showing

Would prefer, "Fixed Gear & Singlespeed".

Umm, yes, like Zed said.
Just put in a hover delay on the tabs. sorts it out...
