Assuming a Saturday night.
It isn't that bad at night but you could pop into the park for a bit.
x-number of cyclists just hold a lane anyway so would be fine.Like I said, in a pack would be fine. In fact, it would probably be a great road to ride with 100+ peeps, as traffic can pass safely on the outside.

I'm up for either, also think it deserves its own thread now?
Perhaps both are possible in 2 groups meeting at the same point at the end for a few bevvies -

well that may be true but im sure my brother is just trying to get a few peoples attention before making any critical plans
I'm sure he may be, but if he posted out a properly worked-out ride concept, with route, instructions, and logistics, it would happen. Check the OPs to rides like the Bridges rides for an idea of what's required. With just a timid 'anyone up for it?' posting, nothing is going to happen. I'm trying to encourage him, not put him off.

There is one going next Saturday.
I think a point to point/alleycat could be pretty sweet. I'm off the bike for a good while with a rugby injury so would be happy to run the start finish line as I'd be unable to compete unless it was in 2010
