its only the old people really (as in most countries).. the young ladies have no problem with us :P

(ive lived here in Japan for almost two years now, and apart from stares from old people, and the odd far-right nutters in a van driving around, ive had no problems)

The Japanese racism is countered by their kindness to strangers... which sounds like an oxymoron i know, but, they are still very friendly, even if they dont like you :D

I honestly can't imagine a far-right Japanese, guess I'll have to come over and check them out myself. The young lady bit, however, I can dig wholeheartedly.
