Ed - out of interest what would be your solution to the situation (other than coshing the guy that bought the stolen bike with a d-lock and taking the bike back). Not buy the bike back?

Didn't realise the person brought the stolen bike, and not the theft, whoop! either way it hardly make much difference since the theft already sold it once.

Netherless I find that mentioning the involvement of piglets usually work.
