What was your method? Wet'n'dry with some polishing compound?
I'm asking, because I've got an anodised 3TT stem with nice Moscow bars - they also have elaborate embossed logos, but the finish is dull. They're NOS, so I don't want to scratch them up and prefer to take it slowly. I can't really chuck the stem into some kind of bath with caustic soda, because of the rubber seal on the front (it's the kind of hinged stem which opens up).
